Praktis dan Buka puasa bersama H5N1

Bukan alang-alang payah dapat berkumpul balik dengan band group H5N1. Lebih-lebih lagi tahun ni, semua agak sibuk dengan komitmen masing-masing. Tapi syukurlah, Hari Raya pada tahun ni, kami dapat berkumpul sekali lagi. Yeyehhh!! Raya datang lagi....!

Untuk pengetahuan kawan-kawan sekalian, H5N1 ni adalah band group daripada Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan dan Perusahaan Ternak (JPHPT) yang sangat talented dan lucu! Haha... Tiap kali berkumpul dengan geng H5N1, confirm tidak akan kering gusi dengan cerita lawak gila-gila dorang. Apalagi kalau sudah sampai bab teka-teki, lagi lah...sampai lupa mau praktis bah.

Begini la keadaan studio H5N1 yang terletak di JPHPT Kepayan. 

Seperti tahun-tahun sebelum ini, band group H5N1 akan menghiburkan para tetamu di majlis rumah terbuka YB Datuk Seri panglima  Haji Yahya Hussin. Saya dan juga pasangan duet (tetap dan tidak berpencen) Mar - vokal bukan sekadar rupa- akan bersama-sama memeriahkan lagi majlis rumah terbuka nanti. Orang cakap, sambil berhibur sambil makan! Teh tarik panas dia confirm sedap. Oh, tarikh yang ditetapkan adalah 17hb Ogos 2013, sabtu, yang mana bersamaan dengan birthday cik Mar VBSR kita. Apa surprise mo bikin ah? Any idea..? *evil grin*

Lepas praktis tadi, kami berpeluang berbuka puasa bersama-sama. Al-maklumlah, para band boys semuanya beragama islam dan berpuasa. Jadi, kami dengan happynya join bersungkai juga walaupun kami sememangnya tidak berpuasa. Siap melebih-lebih demand kurma pula tu..tapi bukan kurma 'yusof taayob' laa..haha!

Yang paling best lagi, kali ni ada sesi panggang-memanggang tau.. Ada ikan temenung dengan ikan putih! Pergh! Sedap geng..siap ada sambal belacan...terliur-liur balik bila terbayang. Terima kasih lah kepada abang-abang H5N1 yang begitu rajin menyediakan juadah berbuka puasa. Memang terbaik! 

Yang pastinya, saya dengan Mar makan dengan penuh selera, sambil ketawa non-stop dengar celoteh dorang. Huhu...begitulah indahnya ada kumpulan band yang umpama keluarga sendiri. Bukan baru setahun dua bersama-sama dorang. Rasanya, sudah 7 tahun berada dalam keluarga H5N1. Kiranya, saya daripada badan yang kurus macam lidi sampai jadi montok macam kak Pah laa..ahakz! Tapi, memang rasa bersyukur sangat sebab masih diberi kepercayaan untuk jadi penyanyi untuk H5N1. Thank you!

Kalau tiada aral melintang, saya juga akan berada di majlis rumah terbuka Ketua Menteri pada Hari Raya Ketiga nanti. Siapa free,datang la makan free di Kompleks sukan Likas ok! Kita sama-sama makan Free & berhibur bersama artis-artis kebudayaan Negeri Sabah. Ada Afiq, Azrie, Azeaini, Lulu dan juga dev!

Recording for Sabah Entertainers Radio Program

I've just recorded two songs for RTM Kota Kinabalu Radio Program, Sabah Entertainers, 2 days ago for saturday slot. I picked two different genre of song for this upcoming program; when I saw her standing there by the Beatles and Never gonna leave this bed by Maroon5. I hope I did not spoil the song too much.

Sabah Entertainers is one of Radio programs by Sabah FM (RTM) Kota Kinabalu started since few years ago featuring sabah local artists like Lee Cheng Wen, Marlleynney Fane, Sumarli Loli, Black Kidz, Ivy Loverline, Cabrini Solibun, Rachel Wesly and few more artists including me (Devreny)

This is something fun for me as I need to cover my favourite english song accompanied by the talented band group KIDZ (also a local band group). Well, it's more like people cover their favourite song and upload in youtube. 😊 But this is to be aired in Sabah FM.

By the way, you can listen us this Saturday at 89.90 fm sabah fm at 1.30 p.m. I hope I put the right time. Anyway, I will check with Mr. Silas the producer and update.

Sole singer for ACEM 20th Anniversary

Last saturday ACEM Sabah Branch celebrated it's 20th Anniversary, National Golden Jubilee at Shang-ri La, Tanjung Aru and I was invited to be the sole singer for their event. 

ACEM stands for Association Consulting Engineer Malaysia. It has branches in Sabah as well as in Sarawak and it's Secretariat located in Kuala Lumpur. For more info about ACEM, you can find from it's official website : www.acem.com.my

The stage. Keyboard belongs to my Keyboardist, Mr. Charles. I invited him to  accompany me during the event. 

I was actually have no idea about this association. However, being the sole singer for their event really was a great experience. For the first time I met them, they gave me a warm welcome (even during the sound check). Mr. Amirul (the one who contacted me) was a very nice and polite guy with a bit sense of humor. Same goes to the Chairman, Ir Fung Yin Khun. He's very nice and humble man.

Recording of 'Raya Siurang' RTM

Finally the reording of 'Raya Siurang' for RTM successfully done yesterday. It was a great experience for me. I've been co-operated with another 4 sabahan artists; Rubisa - winner of Gema Warisan 2004 as well as Finalist of reality show Akademi Fantasia; Suib (The Fingers) - winner of Sentuhan Ikon 2013; Hafsyam - 2nd runner up Bintang RTM 2012; and also with a beautiful lady Lee Cheng Wen - winner of Bintang Ai-minnal 2010.

To be frank, i have no any title yet like them, but RTM is very kind to give me this opportunity. Thank you RTM especially the Publisher, Mr. Ruskap for trusting me.

Previously, I've been invited for  TVi live interview for program 'i Bagus Bah' (iBB) held in RTM aslo. It was just a short recording and I do not have to practice anything because I only have to answer the DJs questions and sing my own single 'Sekian Lama (melepaskan cinta)'.

Back to 'Raya Siurang' story, this program is for Hari Raya Aidilfitri which will be published during Hari Raya Ke-3, 10.00 a.m. at TV1. It was 3 days of preparation for us, the artists, from 3rd - 5th July , 2013; which we were also have to do a 'full-dress rehearsal' a day before the exact recording to ensure everything was excellent including our attire and make-up.

Just for information, this event sponsored by Beras Nasional Berhad (BERNAS) and also KAMDAR berhad (artists and MCs attire). Thank you to both companies.

This year 'Raya Siurang' is celebrating the 'orpahns' from As-sakinah and also 'single mother' from 'Persatuan Ibu-Ibu tunggal'. They were very supportive and sporting during the live recording.

Our very funny, talented and intelligent Emcees of the day were Dj Dayang - the RTM DJ and also the new TVi emcees Abigail Phoebe and Jimmy.

It really was a great experience for me. Thank you to all RTM crew especially Mr. Ruskap (once again), Mr. Suaran, Ms. Miriam as well as our make-up artist Kak Hajah.
